As a Security Officer who works Per-Diem assignments at multiple locations, and various shifts, it can be difficult to keep up with your schedule. Per-Diem Security assignments require different “uniforms” for each assignment. If you want to work private events or security driving it is required to wear a dark colored suit, white shirt, tie and comfortable shoes. The next day you might have an assignment that requires a polo shirt and/or windbreaker that has “SECURITY” displayed on the back, black cargo/tactical type pants and boots. It’s best to be prepared and have these clothing items available in your closet. You also need to comply with grooming standards by having a clean and neat appearance. Prior to an assignment, required uniform will be posted in job announcement.
