Step 1: Sign Up for Work
Everyone wants a job, but do you want to work?
It all begins with taking the first step to sign up for Per-Diem assignments. Maybe you want to work just weekends or whenever you have openings in your schedule. Maybe you want to work different assignments. Or maybe you have a niche in security that you enjoy. Whatever it is, we may have an assignment for you. Please complete the online Per-Diem Security Form which lets us know what skills you have, when and where you want to work , so you can continue to work in this exciting and rewarding industry.

Step 2: When You Work
As a Security Officer who works Per-Diem assignments at multiple locations, and various shifts, it can be difficult to keep up with your schedule. MA1 Security uses When I Work because it allows guards to bid on assignments, view schedule, communicate with other security officers, clock in & out, and view timesheets. Sign up now to know When You Work!
Click on the invite link in the email or text you received from MA1 Security to download the free When I Work mobile applications. Alternatively, log into When I Work on the web.

Step 3: Be Prepared To Work
Per-Diem Security assignments require different “uniforms” for each assignment. If you want to work private events or security driving it is required to wear a dark colored suit, white shirt, tie and comfortable shoes. The next day you might have an assignment that requires a polo shirt and/or windbreaker that has “SECURITY” displayed on the back, black cargo/tactical type pants and boots. It’s best to be prepared and have these clothing items available in your closet. You also need to comply with grooming standards by having a clean and neat appearance. Prior to an assignment, required uniform will be posted in job announcement.
