• Security Guards

    A Security Guard is a person employed in NYS to principally perform one or more of the following duties, and the person is not performing the functions of a private investigator:

    Protection of persons and/or property from harm, theft, and/or unlawful activity;

    Deterrence, observation, detection, and/or reporting unlawful or unauthorized activity;

    Street patrol service; response to, but not installation or service of a security system alarm.

  • Private Investigators

    A Private Investigator is hired to obtain information regarding the identity, habits, conduct, movements, whereabouts, affiliations, associations, transactions, reputation, or character of any person or group of persons. A private investigator may also conduct investigations regarding the credibility of witnesses; the whereabouts of missing persons; the location of missing persons; the location or recovery of lost or stolen property; and the causes and origin of- or responsibility for- fires, libels, or losses.

  • Per-Diem Security

    MA1 Security & Investigative Services is a Veteran-Owned company. We are continuously seeking Active & Retired Law Enforcement, Military Veterans and Security Professionals who are interested in per-diem and part-time Armed & Unarmed Security assignments at locations in New York City and Hudson Valley area.

    Per-Diem (Latin for “Per Day”) assignments are mostly filled on short notice. Candidates must be able to work various shifts and times, including weekends and holidays. Candidates are expected to have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites. Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently. Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
